Motivation Monday (#33) Chair Shoes

Chair Shoes

All Plain Shell Style2 Urban Chic2

These chair shoes are just perfect for protecting hard flooring! They’re also a great way to customize a room to match a color palette or, as in our case, to distinguish who sits where! An added bonus is that small children get a new splash of color added to their level, and who doesn’t appreciate that after a nap?

In this order, you will receive 16 chair shoes in the color(s) of your choice, in the style that you choose. All chair shoes are made out of 100% acrylic yarn and are customized to fit your chair. You will need measure your chair legs (front AND back, if they’re different), and send me the measurement(s) along with the color(s) you’d like. If you’re looking for a custom order, such as taller plain chair shoes or multiple styles per set, you’ll need to request a custom order.

The measurements are as follows (on chair):
Plain chair shoes (brown in picture) stand 2.5″ tall.
Shell Style chair shoes (pink in picture) stand 3.25″ tall.
Urban Chic front chair shoes (yellow with pink bows in picture) stand 5″ tall; back chair shoes stand 3.25″ tall. (This order is for 2 taller & 2 shorter chair shoes per chair. Request a custom order for all short or all tall OR an order without the bow!)

My chair legs are 5″ around in the back and 5.5″ around in the front. These chair shoes can fit between 4.5 to 5.5″. If you need a custom size, please request a custom order.

I designed these chair shoes myself. Please email me (simplyknots@live.com) if you have any questions or concerns before purchasing the product.

Updates!

Updates on SK:

Hello everybody! I know I haven’t posted anything new in a while, but I’m still here! I’ve been busy, but I’ve still been doing commissions. I’m just taking the time to let you know that, and I’ve been working on a few updates for the last couple of days, so I hope that you enjoy them! :)

Pattern Updates:

    • All PDF patterns for sale via download have a new face! They include the SK header at the top, a pretty pink frame around the important crochet details (such as gauge), and a nice orange break at the end. (See below for pictures!) And, as I promised someone on Facebook, you have the option of downloading the PDF with black headings or purple! So whichever is better on your eyes is your choice. The PDFs that say “Pattern Name Black Update 2014″ are the ones with the black headings, in case you don’t want to download both. [Psst: All patterns are in size 16 font!]
    • All patterns now include a descriptive list of what you are actually downloading, including instructions or tips that can be found in the pattern. Check out a pattern listing to see what I mean!
    • All patterns also have  a new section in their descriptions to tell you what the most complicated stitch(es) is/are in the pattern, so that you can download an SK pattern with comfort!
    • All patterns on Etsy have been uploaded to Craftsy as well, for your purchasing convenience!

SK Blog Updates:

    • All pages (the links on the left-hand side of the blog) now tell you which patterns are available on Craftsy & Etsy.
    • All product posts (Motivation Mondays or the links on the pages mentioned above) have links to their purchasing pages on Craftsy now too.

Tutorial News:

    • I can and will (and just have) send you a picture tutorial or more detailed description, working with you, to help you complete any patterns that you feel may be above your comfort level. I check my messages on all sites, and I will answer your messages as soon as possible. Never feel like you can’t get help from me, even if you’re really new at crochet and you want to do a pattern that’s above your skill.

Motivation Monday News:

    • My nonSK life has been very busy lately, and I’ve had such a hard time designing anything new, but I did get some inspiration today, and I have a three pattern pack that will be coming out on Monday! Yay!!! (Not to mention the product(s)….) <3

Patterns BEFORE

^This is what my old patterns looked like before the updates.

Patterns AFTER

^Now, they look like this! Isn’t it a pretty change?

Is there anything you’d like to see updated or on SK? I’m always open for comments and feedback!

Motivation Monday (#32) Classy Seashell Lace Beach Skirt

Classy Seashell Lace Beach Skirt

ribbon skirt3

ribbon skirtribbon skirt2

This skirt is my absolute favorite in my summer line! I feel like it has a classy, vintage look about it, and it’s just SO feminine! This skirt is great with swim suits and it could be intimate wear, but it looks good with leggings too!

Sizes:
XS: Waist is 31.5″, Length is 8″
S: Waist is 33″, Length is 10″
M: Waist is 37″, Length is 12″
L: Waist is 41″, Length is 14″
XL: Waist is 45″, Length is 16″
**I can go up to 5X in sizing, and I can do custom orders, such as an extra small with a 15″ length. Please message me for the price of a custom sized item!

Motivation Monday (#31) Big Boy/Girl In Training Crown

BBIT/BGIT Crown

    IMG_20140218_072649 IMG_20140218_072819  IMG_20140216_082555IMG_20140216_082451

I’m so excited for this crown! I made a crown for Lovey about 2 years ago, and wasn’t very pleased with the result (I tried to modify someone else’s pattern). This crown is just exactly what I pictured it to be! There’s a braid going along the base of the crown (that can be removed for your order, if you desire), and the crown itself has a bit of texture. The best part about this crown is that I can make it for any age! You can get it for little princes and princesses for their birthdays or presents or you can get it for that special 16 or 21 year old’s party (even as a gag gift) or you could even get it for grandma’s 95th birthday party and make her a queen!

**Please notify me which color(s) that you’d like the crown: the base & the actual crown. Also, the braid WILL be there unless you specifically ask otherwise.

These crowns are made to order in 10 sizes, for the best fit: Newborn (Head Circumference is 13.5″, Length is 3″), 3-6 Months (HC is 16″, L is 3″), 6-12 Months (HC is 17″, L is 3″), 1-2 Years (HC is 18″, L is 3″), 2-3 Years (HC is 19″, L is 3″), 3-5 Years (HC is 20″, L is 3″), 6-10 Years (HC is 21″, L is 3″), Small Adult (HC is 22″, L is 3″), Medium Adult (HC is 23″, L is 3″), and Large Adult (HC is 24″, L is 3″).

Please email me (simplyknots@live.com) if you have any questions or concerns before purchasing the product.

Motivation Monday (#30) Princess Shrug

The Princess Shrug

shrug4  shrug shrug2 shrug3

The Princess Shrug was made for my toddler (Lovey’s the one pictured above, in Cinderella’s dress), but you wouldn’t be a little sister if you didn’t join in the fun, right? Lovey and Miss both fit the shrug quite well, though it’s more loose-fitting on Miss and it goes to mid-forearm on her instead of elbow-length. This shrug can be made to fit different sizes, but the measurements now are 21″ across and 5.5″ down the back.

Please email me (simplyknots@live.com) if you have any questions or concerns before purchasing the product.

The belt is made out of 100% cotton yarn and the lace is made out of cotton crochet thread. (**Note: Everybody’s body is different. On some people’s body, it may NOT fit both around the waist and the chest.)

The winner is the person with the most likes on February 21st!

I will make the style of slippers you’d like in the color(s) you’d like and the size you need (infant & toddler sizes only). You do not have to order the Spring Slippers with the flowers. You will need to pay for the shipping, which is $5.60 with First class, Priority mail that includes tracking & insurance.
